The hard winter has not been kind to bedding especially in containers and hanging baskets. The bright coloured Miracle Cyclamen has been the hardest hit as it does not like continuous cold and damp conditions.
It you've lost yours why not replant with primulas or polyanthus* which should give you colour through to late spring. There are plenty about at the moment in garden centres including the new pink primula 'Woodland Walk'. If you want something a bit different why not try the old favourite 'gold lace' polyanthus whose deep burgandy flowers edged with gold contrast well with gold grasses.
* The difference between a primula and a polyanthus is that a primula has one flower per stem while a polyanthus has several blooms per stem.
