yardz has posted on pebble spheres when seen at the Autumn Fair at the NEC Birmingham. They were smaller and more basic produced for mass retailing. This large pebble sphere is from www.davidharbersundials.co.uk and aptly named the 'Dark Planet Garden Sphere'. In day light it makes a stunning sculpture especially when shining wet in rain but in darkness the internal lighting sends shafts of light through chinks in the pebbles.
David Harber has a stunning range of sculpture and waterfeatures in a range of materials all with a contemporary twist. Well worth a look.
Frank, I don't know how I stumbled across your site this AM in New York, but I am working my way back through your gardening entries. When I got to this one, the photo intrigued me, and I tried to connect via the hyperlink.... you misspelled "dials" in the link. I don't know if you want to correct it.... I am so interested, I googled it, and foudn the site, but wanted to let you know.
Fantastic job on your site!
regards, Joanne
